The Breakwater 

When you've been an "Angel" for 6 years, decorating and styling hundreds of brides' weddings what do you do for your own special day? Meredith meticulously designed her wedding over a period of 8 months. Being a perfectionist nothing was left to chance. The reception was held at the newly opened Breakwater Akoya Suite, which features contemporary chandeliers, a relaxed chill out area and stunning ocean views.
The key to this reception was the room plan. The feature being the long family table which seated 40 guests running down the centre. Atop this family table sat 3 vases spilling over with 15 bunches of white orchids in each. Rectangular tables flanked either side with alternating centrepieces of carnation balls and vases with flower domes. A romantic ambience was created with the use of several clever lighting features such as floor-standing lamps and a cluster of light plinths with diamonte lamps, tea lights, candelabra and flowers. Hundreds of tea lights twinkled throughout the room. The overall effect; stylish, elegant, effortless precision, everything that epitomises Meredith herself.
