Flushed pink with love
Gemma & Mauro

UWA Club

When Gemma and Mauro met with Salli 12 months out from their wedding, they wanted to create a magical, memorable night with wedding styling that guests would rave about.  After numerous meetings a colour scheme of mocha, green and soft pink was chosen to perfectly suit the warm hues and timber paneling of the UWA Club.

This was a wedding of large proportions and individuality with three different and elaborate centerpieces to distinguish the guest tables. The outer tables were decorated with tall silver baroque candelabras and accented with itty bitty fishbowls filled with posies of roses, while the inner tables surrounding the dance floor were topped with a sophisticated vase filled with heavenly scented cream and pink roses, pale pink lilliums and lisianthus.  The two parents tables closest to the bridal table featured large silver based stormshades with large pillar candles in the centre and a full fresh wreath of flowers. These three different yet wonderfully coordinated approaches gave the overall "wow" effect when casting the eye over the reception.

The bridal table was an eye catcher, framed by huge floral arrangements on either side of the raised table and set atop up-lit white plinths. Centered were two rectangular mirror boxes overflowing with stunning arrangements of white, soft pink, crème de menthe and honeymoon roses. Further mirror trays filled with tealights set along the front of the table finished off the display.

White chair covers fitted with a champagne satin sash gave the room a gentle glow that mixed perfectly with the dusty pinks and mochas that were the theme of this pretty wedding. Love was the focal point of the day, of course, and was portrayed perfectly via the 'Love Table' situated in the foyer of collective photos of the couples time together intertwined with romantic posies of roses and tea lights and LOVE spelt out in silver letters to emphasise the marital bliss.
