Parmelia Hilton
Sarah wanted her wedding to feel soft, warm and romantic with champagne tones and vintage roses. The reception was held in the Parmelia Hilton Ballroom and gold and ivory were used to create the perfect ambience. Ivory organza overlays were atop ivory linen table cloths and the same tone was used in the satin bows on the back of each chair cover. Gold brocade napkins added detail and texture to the tables. Each guest table was decorated with our largest round mirrors, one metre in diameter, and finished with elegant brandy balloon vases with arrangements of apricot and gold roses and lissianthiums. Guests enjoyed their own individual candlelight with votive candles at each place setting. The bridal table was a sight to behold set against an ivory floor to ceiling backdrop, swagged and embellished with fairy lights. The front of the bridal table was swagged to match with ivory satin as was the cake table and a matching cascading low and low flower arrangement displayed at the front with tea lights glowing out to the ends of the table. Large limestone urns on pedestals were filled with fresh flowers in champagne.
Touched By Angels also provided Sarah with her loose vintage style posy of champagne, coffee and ivory roses and her maids with posies of renaissance and renata roses, golden and pale orange David Austin roses which were bound stylishly with ribbon. Each ivory pew sash at Christchurch Chapel was adorned with large posies of roses in shades to match the bouquets. |
