St George's Chapel and College

To sum up Monique and Steve's special day would be to say "sophisticated, traditional, elegant". Touched By Angels were lucky enough to experience the magic of the entire day as the couple hired Tegan, our Senior wedding coordinator, to ensure the smooth running of the event.

The nuptials were held in the quaint, heritage chapel at St George's College, Monique carried a beautiful fragrant bouquet of Peony roses. After the ceremony guests were treated to pre-dinner drinks and Jerry Fraser shucking oysters in the gardens of the picturesque courtyard. The happy chatter complemented perfectly by the classic sound of a string trio.

The reception was held in the dining hall of the college, the room itself grand with heavy Jarrah banquet tables, wood paneled walls, vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. The look Touched by Angels created for the evening was Old English Elegance. Crisp white table cloths and napkins created the canvas, we completed this with white fitted chair covers, crushed cream satin sashes and table runners perfecting the neutral tone to brighten the room. Traditional wrought iron candelabras were wrapped generously with fresh ivy and dotted with fresh cream rose heads, the thick pillar candles provided romantic candlelight. A couple of floor standing candelabras finished the majestic feel in the room.

Monique and Steve's lucky guests were treated to a Piccolo bottle of Moet & Chandon which our Angels finished with cream satin ribbons and "Thank you" cards. Monique who spent many years abroad as a professional dancer had her first dance with Steve's as his wife to the very fitting 'Tiny Dancer' by Elton John. After which guests danced the night away to a 10-piece Latino band.

The whole evening captured the essence of the couple, with a down-to-earth yet sophisticated style.

Just a short note to say how thrilled Steve and I were with the service provided by Touched By Angels. You were an absolute delight to work with throughout the entire process, so professional and open minded, it was truly a pleasure to share my 'vision' with you which you executed perfectly.

The photos demonstrate the fabulous transformation of the Great Dining Hall at "St George's". Many, many thanks again to yourself and Tegan who was calm and collected throughout the entire day and did a superb job!

I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending Touched By Angels in the future. Thanks for making my day a resounding success which certainly exceeded my expectations.
