Mead's of Mosman Bay
Lisa's vision was romantic, vintage elegance. Mead's of Mosman Bay provided a sophisticated backdrop with a stunning view over the water, a breathtaking feature behind the bridal table.
The bride wore ivory and her maid's a soft tea rose. Lisa took advantage of the season incorporating beautiful Peony and David Austin roses in her soft vintage style centerpieces. Pearls in the base of the fishbowl vase provided a classic touch. Silver and white etched tea lights supplied a soft glow amongst the scattering of fresh rose petals at the vases.
The linen was kept neutral with crushed cream satin sashes on traditional white fitted chair covers with matching cream table runners creating a beautiful contrast with the pink roses. The colour accentuated by the dusty pink napkin ties finished with a stylish diamante buckle.
Touched By Angels helped to create a unique "wishing table". White wooden letters spelt LOVE. Two glass "Aladdin" lamps, one which read "Make a Wish" the other "Take a Wish" allowed the bride and groom to share special messages and thoughts with their guests.
The newlyweds were honeymooning in Paris and Lisa added a personal touch by naming her tables using French words such as "Jet'aime" and "Mon Cherie" presented on small easels on each table.
The gorgeous cake also piped with similar words of love was surrounded by a glowing ring of silver and white etched tea lights.
Guests were welcomed into the venue with lanterns and fresh rose petals scattered heavily along either side of the entrance.
