Diana's dream wedding was traditional and romantic, with tones of mocha and cream in a room full of fresh beautiful flowers.
The ceremony was held in Caversham's Hidden Gardens and Diana made her entrance down the grand limestone staircase, fern trailing elegantly down the handrails and large urn arrangements at the base. Diana and Pete exchanged vows by the river underneath Caversham's wedding pagoda also decorated with fresh fern and large posies of flowers.
For the reception no detail was missed and guests were treated to a decedent display in the centre of each table. Round mirrors sat on each cream brocade table overlay. Tall martini vases were filled with large cascading arrangements of roses, lissianthiums, carnations, oriental lilies and orchids in whites and greens with touches of coffee. At the base of each martini vase were small cylinder vases with posies of matching flowers amongst silver and white vintage tea lights. Mocha satin ribbons fastened with diamante buckles finished the look and were featured on vases, napkins, glass candle holders and the individual cakes of the cupcake tower.
The intimate bridal table for two was embellished with a reflecting mirror front and mirror troughs creating a full fresh floral hedge. The bride and groom added a personal touch by naming their tables after their favourite, glamorous Hollywood celebrities. |
